Association Of Small Newspapers was constituted in the year 1984 and registered on 1986. Later on the demand of the members, we included " Of India" in the name of association. Association was being recognized as a strong voice for raising the problems of small newspapers of the country. Press Council Of India recognized it as representative body in the 1997 and then in the year 2004, the association got representation in PCI.
